I accidentally ran my microwave on empty for 30 minutes. Do I need to worry that it may leak radiation now?

There are no visible burn spots in the microwave and it still heats up food. However, I am nervous because I am pregnant. I know that running it on empty can ruin the magnetron, but can it also ruin the microwave to the extent that it releases radiation?

How does an automatic rice cooker know when the rice is done?

My rice cooker has no timer, and simply has a “cook rice” button, which turns off when the rice is done. And it’s right every time.
But it’s not a set time. Sometimes I add a lot of rice, and sometimes less. The cooking time automatically adjusts for those changes, and the rice is properly cooked every time.

MerryBQuick asked:

I want to buy a double-oven wall-oven combination unit, with one oven a microwave and the second oven an electric oven, but what happens if the microwave part breaks? Can a new microwave be placed in the double-oven unit, or must the entire double-oven unit be replaced to get a working microwave again? Thank you.

Why does my microwave start working only when the oven has been on?

Weird, both my microwave oven and regular oven are built in, microwave on top of oven.

Microwave will turn itself off, loose power, after about 1 hour of no use.

Now, here is the weird part.

When I turn on the Oven for more than 1 hour the microwave power will come back on and it will ask me to reset the time.

What is going on here?
