		<description>If you buy a higher end model at a real authentic chinese grocer,you will pay around $100.00 dollars or maybe more,but you will never have rice stick to the bottom of the rice cooker and most likely will not have to replace that cooker,as the saying goes you get what you pay for.</description>

		<description>The first thing to do is add the water and two tablespoons of oil. Mix them together and add the rice and one tablespoon of salt. The trick is to let the water boil first then mix the rice with it. Hope's this help.</description>

		<description>You can grease the cooker. One way to avoid a scrubfest is to scrape out the rice cooker with a wooden spoon when you serve the rice. Pour "cold" water into the cooker after you use it. Let it sit a half our, the rice will rinse out easy, with very little scrubbing.</description>

		<description>How much sausage are we talking about?  Running a microwave empty or nearly empty can cause arcing.  If you are only nuking one link MAYBE that is the problem.  Otherwise I know of only two other situations that can cause arcing.  The microwave is failing or you have something highly conductive (usually metal) in it when it is running.  In any of these cases it would not matter what food you are heating.

		<description>This is a centuries old method for "cooking" seafood...as noted it doesn't cook it pre se but feels like it is cooked. The salt and acid of the marinade preserve it in the hot countries that serve this great appetizer. Remember how long Americans took to "like" Sushi? Many still won't eat it bc it is uncooked but they can be fooled to eat Ceviche because it "feels" like it is.

Many people think that this method just came from the Spaniards or Mexico or So. America...but it is used all over the World in the hot coastal areas. 

My first taste was when I was cooking on a ship in the Aleutian islands and I had woken up to start Breakfast for a hundred people and found a 15-20 foot octopus draped across my sinks! After me screaming bloody murder; the night Engineer roused a bunch of sleepy Filipinos who drug it off (!!!?!!!) and a day or two later brought me some octopus ceviche as a peace offering...I've liked it ever since. (And I just smiled when told a few years later that it was an Ecuadorean or a Colombian or a "____"dish.)</description>
